Beginning Monday, March 4, 2013, Mobile Work Exchange, the new Telework Exchange, will host the third annual Telework Week, a week-long, nationwide effort to encourage agencies, organizations, and individuals to pledge to telework. We invite you to pledge to telework the week of March 4-8, 2013 – it’s free to participate.

Telework is a win-win-win opportunity for agencies/organizations, employees, and the environment. Telework supports:
  • Workforce productivity and continuity
  • Operational efficiencies, sustainability, and real estate savings
  • Attracting new talent and retaining a knowledgeable workforce
  • Work/life balance
  • Commuter cost savings, reduction of traffic, greenhouse gas emissions
Last year, more than 71,000 pledged, saving $5,651,890 on commuting costs, gaining back 251,774 hours into their day, and removing 3,453 tons of pollutants from the air, while refraining from driving 6,413,006 miles.

Go green, give your car a rest, and telework during Telework Week. You can save money, time and help reduce air pollution. Pledge your support by visiting the Mobile Work Exchange website.
